This residence is a wonderful place. Quiet and calm for relaxing. The service was great
and the rooms very clean. I spent 3 weeks and look forward to come back in 2011.

This place made our first holiday to Bali a memorable one. The private pool, the large rooms, cooked breakfasts & the friendly staff is something will be be coming back to one day. If you want to stay in Seminyak, though away from the busy streets but not too far away, then this is the place to stay. Highly recommend the Residence!

I have not completed many hotel reviews in my lifetime. I believe that had I completed a review for each and every one of my hotel stays (which there are many), I’d be chastised by my overseas family for not spending that time speaking to them on the phone!
However, the Residence Seminyak was certainly a property to comment on as I don’t believe that the current content available online accurately reflects the product that it is - a great villa with a fantastic central Seminyak location off a quiet alley that is also has affordable and fair prices.
This is certainly a Villa property to consider if you are traveling to Bali for a short or long term stay. Since the Residence Villas are so large, the website photos can not capture the true size and comfort of Residence Villas. The rooms are large, fantastic quiet air-conditioning, very private outlook, and full day of sun over the pool areas (and shaded on the deck if you need a respite from the intense Bali sun).

I may sound like a spoiled traveler, but the Grocer & Grind (a short stroll from the Residence Seminyak) is a great retreat for many reasons: outdoor/indoor/A-C seating high quality western food for a fraction of the price you pay at home. a decent cup of soy coffee free wireless (the Residence Seminyak’s wifi worked well and a high speed) I recommend going to Grocer and Grind when you’ve eaten too much indonesian or asian food and when you are keen to have some western favourites.

I've read other reviews regarding its location being down a side alley; some of the review were mixed.I can confidently say that the well-lit lane access to the Residence is actually it\'s strength - a couple minutes walk to the \'action\' whilst just positioned away from the noise that comes from the main road. The maps currently available online and even googlemaps does not portray to the first time visitor just how central and convenient the property is.



Their staff are all very attentive and overall were genuinely friendly. Particularly the cooks who come to your villas (at your request) to prepare a full breakfast for you in your villa (and even cut the local mangoes that i purchased from the markets - they are truly a delight to the palate).

I had friends staying at other more 'well-known' villas in Seminyak which due to their international reputation and branding, have been able to develop a international clientele following which in turn, increases the costs (more demand for same properties) to travellers such as ourselves. In fact, having seen \'those\' villas, they have begun to look a bit worn and tired despite pictures saying otherwise coupled with the higher price tag given its brand reputation. Nonetheless, I recommend that you consider the Residence Villa on your next stay as you\'ll likely encounter superior product, equivalent (if not better) central location, without paying a hefty price premium given its brand.

2 thumbs up for the Residence Villa - it certainly made my stay worthwhile and I would now consider going back to Bali for a holiday.

Our villa was luxurious ,the breakfast served in our villa each morning ,the wonderful staff along with Christine who was always on hand to respond to any query we may have had...made our holiday most memorable.

Thank you for everything! We had a fantastic holiday in one of your villas, it was terrific! We felt so comfortable and you fullfilled every wish we had. The villas have a great design , we had so much space, everything was clean and neat, we loved the bath in our own pool after the sunset and your staff was very friendly. We will be back as soon as we can!

Now my holiday is over and i´m back in Germany and herewith i want to thank the whole staff of T.R.S. for making my trip a great one. I enoyed the luxurious two bedroom villa No. 5 ! It was just amazing! By the way I fell in love with the gorgeous pool! Staff was always very friendly and i hope to return soon ;) Thanks and sunny greets from Frankfurt

Had a great time. Our 2 bedroom deluxe villa was excellent and we found all the staff very helpfull. Position of the villas is great being able to walk to so many good eating places. We did have some problems with the refridgerator in the 4 bedroom unit which took too long to fix.
